    The Visual Merchandising Warehouse Specialist will support the Visual Merchandising team in managing seasonal and evergreen sign and prop inventories, and fulfilment of retail chain sign and prop needs.


    Inventory Management Retail
    • Organize sign and props inventory in warehouse by store design and frequency of replacement (3 different store designs to organize)
    • Manage min/max and trigger re-order of props from NYC office
    • Forecast needs for upcoming floor set changes making sure props called for in guidelines are ready if needed by stores
    • Interface with external suppliers regarding delivery to warehouse as well as possible damages
    • Assist in maintaining Visual Merchandising Catalogue

    New Store Openings, Re-models and Store Closings
    • Review floor plans with larger VM teams to assess store’s VM sign and prop needs
    • Align dates with facilities calendar to assure props and signs are delivered in a timely and most cost-efficient manner
    • Coordinate shipments with internal traffic department and external vendors
    • Follow up with store managers to make sure VM signs and props arrived intact and in correct quantities
    • Alert larger VM Team of any relevant issues as a result of conversations with retail ops staff
    • Attend store opening set ups as needed by VM Manager
    • Work closely with Ops team and District Managers to coordinate packing materials for VM items to be returned to warehouse during boutique closings.
    • Review returned VM items for usability and restock into existing inventory

    Retail Store VM Requests
    • Field calls from retail stores and retail management to address VM store needs
    • Work with stores on timing and quantities of ordered items
    • Fulfill VM prop and signage replacement orders from retail stores within 24-hour turnaround time if possible
    • Alert larger VM Team of any relevant issues as a result of conversations with retail ops staff

    Wholesale Projects
    • Interface with marketing team to assess sample distribution needs and timing
    • Coordinate materials with internal and external suppliers
    • Resource additional labor as needed to meet timelines

    Guidelines (Photography and Comps)
    • Coordinate materials for retail Mock Shop walk throughs
    • Create comps as needed to fill voids in order
    • Tie ballotins with seasonal ribbon
    • Send seasonal comps for NYC office
    • Source and gather live product for guideline photo shoots or displays

    Special Projects (as needed)
    • Assist Store Ops and other internal teams to create, pack and distribute special kits
    • Identify and employ most cost-effective shipping methods
    • Follow up on finished projects

    Miscellaneous Duties
    • Assist H.R. with various initiatives (Bring Your Child to Work, displays for United Way, etc.)
    • Create baskets for various departments or events
    • Assist departments in occasional drop ship needs to retail stores (stickers, labels, small goods etc.)
    • Maintain visual display for Reading reception area


    • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to quickly solve problems as they arise
    • Ability to work with very little direct supervision
    • Ability to order work supplies as needed
    • Ability to lift 45 lbs.
    • Use hand jack and move skids
    • Accurate measuring skills
