    PURPOSE
    The Marketing Innovation Intern will have the chance to experience what it’s like to be a part of the Marketing Innovation team creating indulgent products that delight the world! This position will provide support in handling and managing the tactical/operational category management tasks related to product development and strategy.

    The position will also be responsible for owning a special innovation project intended to help grow the business in North America. This will be done by focusing on a key product category, taking a deep dive into trends, completing a retail competitive audit, analysing sales data and working with cross functional teams to determine feasibility, recipe development, packaging design and commercialization strategy.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support for all development concepts, projects, briefs required for the management of the portfolio
    • Provide support to pull together plans, presentations, overviews needed to efficiently drive category management activity throughout the business
    • To build strong business cases, interact with main counterparts in R&D, PMO, Graphic design, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Insights.
    • Ensure company administrative processes are implemented correctly: Data entry into internal costing system, collecting data and forecasts from business units, budget.
    • Compile information on trends, competition, sales, marketing surveys, external suppliers to help generate innovation addressing new opportunities and consumer insights
    • Understand the product financials for the portfolio
    • Adhere to the NPD process
    • Collect key information to track and review launches to learn what works, what does not and any other key learnings

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Education Required: Currently enrolled in college
    • Interest in Marketing
    • Good knowledge of MS Office
    • Strong organizational/planning skills
    • Process minded
    • Analytical skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Team player and ability to collaborate and partner cross-functionally
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Eager to learn and open minded, can-do attitude is a must
