Manage Public Relations and Social Media marketing.
Public Relations: As part of integrated marketing / communications team, use public relations as a critical tool to bring Godiva brand positioning to life including new product / program launches and 360 seasonal campaigns. Determine strategy and oversee execution of initiatives; prioritize and manage projects to timelines, budget, and resources. Look to leverage earned media to maximize programming and deliver most powerful, cohesive stories. Act as day to day contact for outside public relations agency. Work closely with PR agency and internal teams to generate publicity for Godiva products, business and executives through earned media coverage, influencer relations, sponsorships, and events. Create top tier, memorable brand experiences that impress consumers and influential, as well as drive media placements. Manage all product orders for public relations department and execute orders. Work closely with customer service / creative services departments to ensure that product is secured for all media and event opportunities. Coordinate deliveries from retail stores when necessary.
Work closely with internal teams Online, Retail, Wholesale and Outlet to develop programs for key accounts. Develop executive briefing documents for all media interviews; staff interviews as necessary. Oversee reporting of PR results within organization. Support key program activities such as key holidays, new innovation, etc
Social Media: Create overall social media strategy and integration into marketing plans. Work with internal marketing team to develop and execute social media programs in support of product / seasonal plans. Draft and schedule all posts on social media channels, including copy, image sourcing, and link tracking. Provide weekly analytics to marketing team. Work with customer care to determine best practices for messaging and communicating with consumers. Manage micro-influencer agency to provide briefs, influencer approvals, and product mailings to 500+ influencers per month, reposting relevant content and interacting with key accounts. Work closely with e-commerce team to tag social images with product and integrate into website. Execute social listening campaigns as well as social media contests. Source and catalog user-generated content. Maintain daily social media calendar
Experiential: Serve as internal expert on experiential marketing events. May include event sponsorships, charity donations, pop-up shops, festivals, etc.
In-store content: Manage outside agency to create video reels for retail locations with video screens. Provide monthly or seasonal briefs to agency along with all relevant hi-resolution imagery and video assets and work through revisions.
Budget: Manage Public Relations and social media budgets. Ensure all campaigns are properly funded, and come with budget.
Internal Public Relations: Internal Public Relations. Communicate public relations plans and successes to overall Godiva organization, including executive and retail teams.
• Minimum Education Requires: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable work experience.
• Years of relevant experience: 2 – 4 years of established high performance in a PR agency and / or consumer packaged goods / luxury goods company with PR / Brand Marketing / Social Media experience.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
– Knowledge of, and comfort with applying, marketing concepts and tools, brand management and brand positioning experience – all elements of the marketing mix.
– Business and customer savvy
– Can-do attitude is key
– Drives results and upholds fiscal responsibility
– Has demonstrated solid ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and possesses a bias for action
